ORGANIC GRID AND ELEKTRICTY PRODUCTION

In support of HHsystems we have contributed to the design and financial modeling for the resilient network project instigated by the government of Senegal.

In its desire to strengthen national cohesion and border security, the State of Senegal has decided to set up an Emergency Program for the Modernization of Frontier Axes and Territories (PUMA). This is part of the paramount importance accorded by the President of the Republic to the security of the border axes and to the noticeable improvement of the living conditions of the populations living in these cross-border localities. A dynamic of mutualization of the interventions will be particularly sought with the PUDC and the PROMOVILLE within the framework of the execution of these special programs.

Thus, in accordance with the directives indicated, certain border regions have mobilized themselves for the development of the Border Plan for Infrastructure Establishments (S.H.E.F).

The study entails the needs of creating a resilient and organic model for grid and production facilities. Identifying the goals of energy driven development of the area being :

- border security;
- the opening up of roads, rivers, sea, telephone, digital, etc .;
- sustainable development, through the realization of basic infrastructures (schools, health structures, electrification, hydraulics) and the promotion of income-generating activities.

The technology chosen is a combination between PV-production and hydrogen based storage.
